Your wedding gown is based on a standard size. We will size it up for you. At Laura Couture, each little alteration is handled by a specialist. We do not do one size fits all. Our artisans are experts at alterations, as they only work with bridal and formal wear. They understand how boned bodices act and how Chantilly lace moves. They also understand what happens to cathedral trains when you adjust the fit. More so, they know how to change things without ever compromising the gown’s original integrity.
Every alteration depends on your gown’s original construction and seam allowances. We’ll discuss any limitations openly at the first fitting, before a single stitch is placed.

Most bridal alterations require 2–3 fittings. Here’s what to expect:

Primary alterations complete; we review the fit and note any refinements needed.
A full dress rehearsal with your shoes, undergarments, and accessories. When you leave, it’s ready.
